LANGUAGE EXTENDER per Windows Mobile Pocket PC

Language Extender (LEng) is a product line of multilingual language support software (localization) for Windows Mobile Pocket PC devices. Language Extender is specially designed for non English-speaking users and enables text input in more than 15 different languages!

Language Support software includes on-screen keyboard layouts for text input in national language, national regional settings, word autocomplete function, etc. As optional feature, Language Extender provides translation of Windows Mobile Pocket PC interface to national language.

Language Support for Windows Mobile Pocket PC

Main features of Language Support:

• Windows Mobile interface translation: all icons, menus, dialogs of Windows Mobile interface and built-in applications will be translated into national language.* (available in the “Full” version only)
• National on-screen keyboard layouts give the ability to write in your native language. Additional alternative layout is available for some languages.
• Finger input allows you to type words by using just a hand thanks to large finger friendly keys on the provided on-screen keyboard. A selected key is zoomed while writing – release your finger to type it. (available for some languages only)
• Word Completion allows faster typing of frequently used words. Word autocomplete function simplifies text input by suggesting words as you type.
• National regional settings with national format of date and time.

Language Support for Windows Mobile Pocket PC

Language Extender (LEng) for Windows Mobile Pocket PC is available in two versions: "Full" and "Lite".

Full version of language support provides full translation of Windows Mobile interface to national language (all icons, menus and dialogs of built-in application will be translated).

Lite version includes on-screen keyboard layout for national text input, national regional settings, word autocomplete function, etc. Lite version of language support does not translate Windows Mobile interface (menus and dialogs remain in English).

Supported devices

Language Extender is compatible with Windows Mobile Pocket PC 2003, Windows Mobile Pocket PC 2003 Second Edition, Windows Mobile Pocket PC 5.0, Windows Mobile 6.0 Classic and Professional devices. Compatibility may vary depending on language and LEng version.

Registering

You can use Language Extender during 14 days trial period. Then you will need to register the application.

*Note! Language Extender should be specially designed for particular device. We recommend you to install trial version before purchase. Only Microsoft built-in applications will be translated in such version of Language Extender (Messaging, Calendar, Tasks, Phone, Word, Excel, Pocket MSN, Internet Explorer, Power Point, etc.). Language Extender doesn’t translate device specific applications such as Camera, GPS, etc.
