Use Dutch on Palm OS device with Dutch PiLoc

Dutch PiLoc provides Dutch Palm OS localization.

Dutch PiLoc creates an environment to operate with Palm OS in Dutch. PiLoc is a common solution of Palm OS localization problem, chosen by a number of Palm OS device resellers.

At the European PalmSource Developer Conference 2003 PiLoc Palm OS localization technology was recognized as the winner of 2003 European Palm Powered Up Award in the Productivity Tools category.

Dutch PiLoc features:

• Full interface translation of Palm OS to Dutch (all icons, menu, dialogs of built-in Palm OS applications will be translated). Please, check if your device is supported at Dutch PiLoc Download Wizard.
• Correct Dutch text search and sorting operations.
• Possibility to install and use several localization systems (for example, Dutch and Swedish).
• Possibility to use custom fonts instead of the default ones: any ready font can be converted to be installed together with PiLoc with the special Fonts Compiler utility.
• Dutch language support launches automatically after system reset. Program is protected from cycling reset.
• Supports installation into a Flash-ROM.
• Open API allows developers to change PiLoc parameters from their applications at run-time.

Special utility PiLoc Monitor allows to configure national language support for each application separately.

Een Nederlands tintje aan voor je Palm!

"Een handige util voor de Palm Pda gebruiker. De nederlandse UI is in goed nederlands opgesteld. Handig zou het zijn als het compatible zou zijn met bv. Dtbk5"

"Met DutchPiloc krijg je op je Palm opeens programma's, commando's en menu's in het Nederlands. Dat is erg plezierig. Juist in de afsprakenagenda is dat fijn bv vanwege de gewone Nederlandse dagen- en maandenvermelding. Bovendien is de helpdesk van uitstekende kwaliteit die ik ergens anders zelden tegenkom. Ik was daar eerst bang voor, maar zonder reden. Dat hebben die Russen goed voor elkaar. Ook het betalen van het product met de credit card was geen probleem!"
