Use Russian language on your Palm Centro with Russian PiLoc Deluxe Lite localization!
Russian PiLoc Deluxe has been specially designed for Palm Centro smartphone. Now it maximally complies with Palm OS series ideology of one-hand device control.
Russian PiLoc DeLuxe special features:
- Alt-keys using in applications
In some applications (like Address Book) there is no active editable field and it is impossible neither to call up the onscreen keyboard nor to enter any alt-key characters.
Now you can open the alt-character list by pressing the "key" + "alt" combination.
- Current language one-hand switching
Now you are enabled to change current language by holding one key on your Palm Centro. Just press "Option" or " Shift" key to see which layout is set and hold it until the smartphone beeps to change the layout.

Now you don''t need to install PiLoc Monitor application separately - Russian PiLoc Deluxe can remember language and codepage for each application you use. It means, that:
- You may always look up a contact in Russian from any application independently on the current encoding. The contact will always be readable.
- Russian SMS will always arrive in readable encoding (win) independently on the encoding set in the current application. And this means that you will not have to change the encoding in order to read some messages, for example in SMS-chat.
- You will always be able to see an SMS body and the sender in an SMS-alert independently on the current encoding.
- The contacts that are added from an application, where the encoding is different from the one, in which other contacts were created, will be converted into the encoding of the existing contacts. This means that when the Remember Encoding function is activated, the situation with differently encoded contacts just will not occur!
- You will always see the caller independently on the current encoding.
- With the Remember Encoding function activated you will always be able to use the Search Contact function from the Phone application independently on the set encoding.
Russian PiLoc Basic features:
- System fonts replacement to add Russian characters.
- Correct Russian text search and sorting operations.
- Alternative on-screen keyboard layout for Russian letters input.
- Special add-on utility RussianToGo allows using Russian in Word To Go application.
- 4 Russian encoding types support (Windows-1251, KOI8-R, Mac+ and ISO8859-5). Multiple encoding support allows to browse internet pages in Russian and work with e-mail messages containing Russian text.
- Mac+ encoding makes possible for Machintosh users to synchronize data in Russian without patching desktop computer.
- Special module for external keyboard is included. Allows to use portable keyboards to type in Russian.
- Supports installation of several Palm OS localization systems (for example, Russian and Hebrew or Russian and Ukrainian).
- Possibility to use custom fonts instead of the default ones: any ready font can be converted to be installed toghether with PiLoc Palm OS localization with the special Fonts Compiler utility.
- Russian Palm OS language support launches automatically after system reset.
