CROATIAN PILOC ～向け Palm

Croatian PiLoc provides Croatian Palm OS localization.

Croatian PiLoc creates an environment to operate with Palm OS in Croatian. PiLoc is a common solution of Palm OS localization problem, chosen by a number of Palm OS device resellers.

At the European PalmSource Developer Conference 2003 PiLoc Palm OS localization technology was recognized as the winner of 2003 European Palm Powered Up Award in the Productivity Tools category.

Croatian for Palm OS features:

• System fonts replacement to add Croatian characters.
• Modified Croatian Graffiti layout to write Croatian letters.
• Alternative on-screen keyboard layout for Croatian letters input.
• Special module for external keyboard is included. Allows using portable keyboards to type in Croatian.
• Correct Croatian text search and sorting operations.
• Optional: full translation of Palm OS to Croatian (all icons, menu, dialogs of built-in Palm OS applications will be translated). Please, check if your device is supported at Croatian PiLoc Download Wizard.
• Possibility to install and use several localization systems (for example, Czech and Croatian).
• Possibility to use custom fonts instead of the default ones: any ready font can be converted to be installed toghether with PiLoc with the special Fonts Compiler utility.
• Croatian language support launches automatically after system reset. Program is protected from cycling reset.
• Supports installation into a Flash-ROM.
• Open API allows developers to change PiLoc parameters from their applications at run-time.

Special utility PiLoc Monitor allows to configure national language support for each application separately.

You can use Croatian on your Palm device, if you set Croatian as system language in PiLoc option dialog.	Mixed Croatian-English Graffiti system (Graffiti help).
Full version of PiLoc Croatian. Palm OS interface is translated into Croatian language.	Croatian on-screen keyboard layout is the same as on desktop computer.
An example. Preferences in Tasks application are translated to Croatian language too.	The system alert in Croatian.

I like it very much.

"The most important thing in my Palm device is address book. I have all contacts from my company plus many private contacts - more than 8000 contacts. Without Piloc, I will have to change real characters in names with characters that exists in english keyboard. It can change the name. So, Piloc is the second most useful program in my device. I like it very much - very simple, reliable and doesn''t spend too much memory."
