Morphology Module
for English, Spanish, French and Russian languages
With help of Morphology Module you can translate any word entered in any form (for example, if you use plural nouns and adjectives, different verb forms and so on). SlovoEd dictionary software will find base forms of the word and will speed up translation when working with e-mails, documents or web-pages. The possibility to find translations of words in any grammatical forms will also be useful for those users who have just begun learning language.

Immediate translation by point
Simply hover a mouse cursor over o word to get quick and precise translation right in current application without opening the dictionary. Table of irregular verbs
The table of English irregular verbs is available in all English dictionaries. Knowing only one form of the verb, you will be able to find the others quickly. Several sorting modes will help to find the verb form you need.
Grammar reference
Most of the SlovoEd dictionary software contains basic grammar information (English irregular verbs, German verbs and Italian pronoun declension, etc.) to help you refresh already obtained knowledge without tiresome search in print grammar references.
SlovoEd Online Update
Now you do not need to look for dictionary updates on the web, SlovoEd easily checks for updates automatically every two weeks. Once new version of the dictionary is released; you will be informed by SlovoEd Online Update and will be able to download it directly on your computer.
Note! To check for SlovoEd dictionary update you should have enabled Internet connection.
Flash Card Quiz enables you to add new words to flash cards and test your knowledge as many times as you wish. The program will decide what words you have learned on the basis of statistics. The more often you get the right answer, the less frequently you will be asked to translate this word.
Search Module
In case you doubt the spelling of the word, you can search for it by entering "?" or "*" symbols instead of some letters. This module can be extremely useful for cross-word lovers. All you need is to guess just some letters from the mystery word. SlovoEd stores and keeps last 30 words in the Search History and you will easily find any word from the History at any time.
You can also find word with the help of Fuzzy Search. If you do not remember the spelling, you can enter a wrong variant and get a list of possible words.
Bookmarks
Enrich your vocabulary by creating a personal list of unknown words using bookmarks and check yourself quickly at any time.
IntraArticle Search
Thanks to a new feature of the application, you can search for words right in the dictionary article. Thus you can find any word even in the longest and most detailed dictionary article.
Personal dictionaries
You can greatly enlarge SlovoEd electronic dictionary word database by creating your own dictionaries. Comment on existing items and add new full entries with translation, transcriptions, usage samples and special marks.
Online dictionary catalog
Online dictionary catalog gives you an ability to download new dictionaries directly to your computer. Choose the translation direction from the supported 30 languages and get the list of available dictionaries. The short description of each dictionary is provided for comprehension. The selected dictionary can be downloaded and installed directly on your computer.
Note! To download new dictionaries you should have enabled Internet connection.
Interface features
SlovoEd electronic dictionary interface is available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Russian languages. You are able to switch interface language anytime, without re-installation of SlovoEd dictionary engine. You can also adapt the dictionary to your personal taste: choose standard or simplified view of main window, set the appropriate font size of the SlovoEd dictionary article, etc.
