October 1997, 3Com/Palm Computing co-funds Russian localization of Palm OS, developed by Paragon Software for PalmPilot Personal and Professional. This was the beginning of Palm Computing presence on Russian market. Due to this deal Palm Connected organizers nowadays hold 2-nd position on the Russian market with estimated 40% share (in units sold).
