Paragon Software Group Releases Handy Weather for BlackBerry Smartphones

Paragon Software Group announces the release of Handy Weather application for BlackBerry smartphones. The program enables mobile users to get wireless weather forecasts in Celsius and Fahrenheit from any point in the world directly on their mobile device, subject to network connection and carrier capabilities. Wireless Internet compatibility is the only requirement needed for users to get real time weather information.

Features:

Preset list of 40,000 cities from all over the world.
Detailed weather forecast includes current temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, real feel (Rf) temperature, well-designed animated graphics include traditional weather icons and text, wind direction and wind speed in mph, km/h or m/s, barometric pressure in Hg, mbar or mmHg, relative humidity in %, etc.
Automatically updated weather forecasts at certain intervals (every two, four, eight, twelve or twenty-four hours), or at a time preset by the user.
Three weather view modes: temperature graph for up to seven consecutive days, detailed weather forecast for each day and current weather conditions (for most cities) for several locations of the user's choice.
The traffic generated by a weather update is only 2.5 Kb per city forecast per download.

Multilingual interface is presented on English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish languages.

Handy Safe Professional Edition Allows Efficient Data Storage

Epocware, subsidiary of Paragon Software Group released Handy Safe Pro, the new professional edition of best selling Handy Safe application that allows secure storage and convenient private data control as well as 2-way synchronization with PC on S60 smartphones. Handy Safe Pro increases the usability of the Safe’s interface adding new features to store, edit and manage sensitive data more efficiently.

To guarantee more safety of the important data, Handy Safe Pro now includes Autolock option temporary locking access to Handy Safe, when the user switched for another application for some time. For user’s comfort new application enables to restore accidentally deleted items. Additionally, Handy Safe Pro allows to create personal subfolders and provides automatic conversion of entered URLs into hyperlinks.

Handy Safe Desktop utility synchronizes all the Safe’s data with PC and allows to easily access and edit it. Now it enables mobile user to define the location for the database on PC and work with the data effortlessly thanks to improved usability including new toolbar, database wizard, search results, hide password function and professional design.
