[Giugno 20, 2005] PiLoc project development
Paragon Software (SHDD) has brought intermediate results of the PiLoc project development. At the present time PiLoc
localization system supports all devices produced by palmOne, including the latest models.
The PiLoc collection continues to replenish with new languages for devices of a Treo,
Life Drive series and other popular models. For example, Dutch PiLoc for Treo 650 has
been released, and language collection has been filled with Hebrew for devices Treo 600,
Zire 72.
Besides, recently released Life Drive there was let out localization for Polish, Czech, Greek and Russian languages.
For today the list of PiLoc language dictionaries consists from 34 national languages
and continues to replenish constantly with new languages.
Thus, summing up improvements of the PiLoc project, it is possible to say with
confidence, that efficiency of development of Paragon Software (SHDD) and presence
of such wide language spectrum in PiLoc localization system promotes significant

[Giugno 05, 2005] PenReader enters the digital handles market
The handwriting recognition software PenReader by Paragon Software (SHDD) begins
developing of digital handles market. And in order to realize that expanding program
there was organized a new division within Paragon Software (SHDD) to develop and
adjust the software especially for digital handles market.
Adaptation of PenReader for digital co-ordinate pen PC Notes Taker was the first
fulfilled project of new division. As the result, this device will be supplied to
Russian market with PenReader 2005 disk, version "for Pegasus".
The plans of Paragon Software (SHDD) include futher development of new division. Now
company conducts negotiations with digital pen producers - Nokia, Hewlett Packard и
Hitachi Maxell to adapt the handwriting recognition system PenReader for its output.
Also Paragon Software (SHDD) plans to develop new version of PenReader which provides
recognition of fused handwritten text.
