Compaq Russia to bundle Russian LE and PenReader with all new iPaq devices

Compaq Russia and Paragon Software (SHDD) have announced today that all new iPaq devices officially sold in Russia will be bundled with Language Extender Russian version and PenReader. Agreement is effective immediately (from September 6, 2001). All iPaq owners, who purchased their iPaq device in Russia through official channels starting from September 6, 2001 are welcome to obtain free copy of Language Extender Russian and PenReader provided by Compaq Russia - get in touch with us for more information.

Trium Mondo speaks Russian now

Paragon Software (SHDD) has completed development project of Russian localization of Trium Mondo smartphone. Now the interface of this new Pocket PC based device with built-in GSM module is completely translated to Russian language. The solution created by Paragon Software (SHDD) is based on standard engine and interface translation module of Language Extender Russian. Additional technology adjustment performed for Trium Mondo enabled to develop Russian interface translation that is compatible with specific Trium Mondo software applications intended for operating with built-in GSM module. The company continues the development and plans to apply the technology to other language versions of Language Extender to provide their complete compatibility with Trium Mondo.
Paragon Software (SHDD) hopes that availability of complete Russian localization makes Trium Mondo more popular on Russian mobile phone market.
