SlovoEd dictionaries support new Try&Buy concept introduced by Nokia

Epocware / Paragon Software Group is proud to announce that SlovoEd multilingual dictionary for S60 supports fundamentally new Try&Buy concept realized in Nokia 6600 smartphone, based on Symbian OS.

Together with the announcement of new Nokia 6600 smartphones shipments to begin earlier this week, Nokia introduced Try&Buy concept in Europe and Africa region, providing customers with add-on software. This is fundamentally new way of delivering applications to customers when they can try software preinstalled on MMC card coming with each Nokia 6600 for several times and easily purchase it after evaluation both online and by retail.

Try&Buy program includes up to 5 SlovoEd dictionaries depending on the region of distribution:

• English<->English
• German<->English
• French<->English
• Italian<->English
• Spanish<->English

All dictionaries are completely localized to national languages. The dictionary interfaces and manuals are available in English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish.

Apart from dictionaries presented in Try&Buy concept Epocware / Paragon Software Group offers more than 100 dictionaries for 23 supported languages and a series of "Handy" personal productivity tools for S60 smartphones (Nokia 6600, Nokia N-Gage, Nokia 3650, and Nokia 7650).

Handy utilities for Sony Ericsson are P900 compatible

Las Vegas and Beijing, October 20, 2003. - Sony Ericsson officially announced a new Sony Ericsson P900 Symbian based smartphone to be available starting next month.

Today Epocware / Paragon Software Group is proud to present soon after the day of the official launch of P900 the first software solutions adapted for this new smartphone - Handy utilities:

They are now fully compatible with new Sony Ericsson’s smartphone. These personal productivity tools offer an opportunity to increase P900 potential greatly and customize it according to customer’s needs.

At present Epocware / Paragon Software Group actively works on porting all the variety of popular SlovoEd dictionaries for UIQ to this new P900. The new version of the dictionary engine and new dictionary databases will be released in the nearest future. In particular one will be able to try English-English, English-German, English-French, English-Italian, English-Spanish, and other SlovoEd dictionaries for P900.
