beloved Newton Message Pad and Newton OS we've been thoroughly and continuously
focused on PDA localization to be sure to say, that "We know the truth about
PDA localization". Truth is not always pleasant though. PDA localization
reality has its own limits which are known to us. As an example - we spent 3 years
of useless efforts before we get to a technology of Hebrew localization of Symbian
OS. Another example is, that there is still no technology around to deliver natural
Hebrew and Arabic localization for Windows CE. Weather its technologically possible
or not we never give up. We keep working even on most complicated issues as for
example Hebrew support for Pocket PC is. This assures, that if solution exists - we
surely have it. If not - we know why and when. We've seen many companies, excited
about PDA localization business and trying to establish themselves on a market and

Unique localization technologies
Our PDA localization expertise is a basis for our localization toolkits. For most of
localization toolkits we deliver a set of tools and technology that normally takes a
professional technical translator and couple weeks of time to create first beta of a
PDA localization. Localization solutions that we deliver are based on fundamental
research of device related PDA OS and in most cases is based on a sophisticated
patch for a certain PDA OS. The value of localization technology is composed by 2
major components - one is reliability of PDA OS patch, which is purely an issue of
technology, and another is national language peculiarities support. We're perfect in
first component due to our long PDA development history and we're perfect in second,
because we "studied" and deployed over 30 languages in our PDA
localization projects. We never do PDA OS translation ourselves except for Russian.
We know how to work with a translator located thousands miles away from our office.

We have successfully completed over 150 PDA OS localization projects for more than 30
languages and different handheld platforms including Newton OS, EPOC32 releases 5
and 6, Windows CE versions 1.0, 2.0, 2.11 and 3.0, Palm OS versions 1.0, 2.0,
3.0-3.5 and 4.0. Every day 8 (year 2001 average) international owners of PDA devices
are buying our localization software from our web site. We have at least 1 dedicated
experienced software engineer for each handheld platform. According to our records
we OEM-ed some 200.000 PDAs with our localization software.
