[März 25, 2005] Treo 650: Totally Localized with PiLoc
New version of PiLoc, the localization system for Palm OS based devices, providing
complete support of about 30 languages (including Greek, Hebrew, Spain, French,
German, Russian and other) on Treo 650 is released. The functionality of PiLoc for Treo 650 includes:
- the possibility of input, editing, saving, transferring to desktop PC or
other PDAs and printing of texts containing national symbols;
- the support of browsing of national languages web sites;
- support of SMS, containing national symbols;
- and other necessary functions concerning usage of national languages on Treo 650.
Also the line of multilingual dictionaries SlovoEd (more than 150 dictionaries for
about 30 languages) by Paragon Software (SHDD) was also adapted to specification of
Treo 650.
Worth of mentioning that development of Russian and Czech editions of PiLoc for Treo
650 (full versions, supporting the option of full interface translation) was ordered
by local official distributors of palmOne immediately. The support of interface
translation for other languages on Treo 650 is being developed for the moment.
