Van Dale and Paragon Software Group Launch First ‘Talking’ Dutch Dictionary Series for iPhone and iPod touch – Dutch Explanatory, Dutch French and Dutch English FREIBURG, Germany – January, 2009 – Paragon Software Group, the leading software developer of electronic dictionaries for desktop PCs and smartphones, and Van Dale, the prominent publisher of quality dictionaries in the Netherlands and Belgium, have launched a series of ‘talking’ multilingual dictionaries for iPhone and iPod touch. The most reliable linguistic dictionary content from the publishing veteran Van Dale, and Paragon’s advanced SlovoEd engine have been combined to bring premium traditional dictionary content to iPhone and iPod touch users directly on the mobile device screen beginning with the most popular titles – Van Dale Dutch Dictionary, Van Dale Dutch-English & English-Dutch Dictionary and Van Dale Dutch-French & French-Dutch Dictionary. Van Dale dictionaries were tailor-made for the iPhone, keeping in mind all special characteristics and unique features of the device. Van Dale Dutch Dictionary’s database contains 30,003 entries.
