FREIBURG, Germany – October 2008 – Paragon Software Group (Epocware division) is pleased to announce the release of Handy Calendar 2.0 – the advanced calendar and time management tool for Symbian S60 smartphones on Symbian OS. The program enhances the default Calendar application and supplements it with additional, more advanced calendar features, such as total overview of appointments and tasks in three different view modes, Timetable view, Skins, Cut/Copy/Paste entries in all views, Import of birthdays directly from Contacts, and other features. Handy Calendar is a mobile personal assistant that assumes control of users' information, appointments and tasks, and guarantees nothing will be missed or left behind.

The Week and Month views allow mobile users to see schedules for the week and month, at the same time allowing quick access of detailed information on all upcoming meetings and assignments. The Day view displays a list of appointments by days, while the Timetable view shows weekly timetables by hours, enabling users to visually estimate their activity for the week.

The mobile user can now import birthdays directly from the Contacts list and automatically create an anniversary entry so that family and friends’ special occasions will never be missed. The new edition also offers an updated Skin system allowing the use of either custom skins or predefined phone themes according to the user’s taste. The latest Cut/Copy/Paste feature makes it much easier to copy and move entries in all views of the application.

• Repeating option for entries: Monthly by day, Yearly by day, and Working days
• Busy bar to estimate how busy the day is
• Advanced entry viewing that allows the display of all attributes at once, allowing users to open URLs, send e-mail or make a phone call
• All entries can be synchronized with Microsoft Outlook
