 New dictionary bases SlovoEd for Symbian UIQ and Symbian S60
Paragon Software (SHDD) expands a spectrum of before given dictionary bases of
“SlovoEd” dictionaries for Symbian UIQ and Symbian S60 operating systems. Now
“SlovoEd” dictionaries for the mentioned operating systems contains the best
professional bases of the leading linguistic companies such as LingoMaxx, Ultra
Lingua, Van Dale and MediaLingua.
Constant updating of the list of the dictionary bases for the “SlovoEd” dictionaries
is reached by means of the unique data compression technology developing by Paragon
Software (SHDD) which allows to allocate up to 100000 words in 600Kb of memory.
Owning to this technology the unique cross-platform dictionary “SlovoEd” specially
adapted under the features of Symbian UIQ and Symbian S60 operating systems,
tends to growth of dictionary bases both in qualitative and quantitative aspects.
As always, for the users of devices under control of operating systems Symbian UIQ
and Symbian S60 all spectrum of functionalities of “SlovoEd” dictionaries is
accessible. For example:
- opportunity of installation of several dictionary bases simultaneously
- support full-screen mode of the translation
- branch and stylistic marks, interpretation, examples
and many other things. Besides it the user interface of “SlovoEd” dictionaries

 SlovoEd dictionaries for Nokia 7710
Paragon Software (SHDD) released a new version of multilingual dictionaries for new
communicator Nokia 7710. Now owners of Nokia 7710 can use qualitative and convenient
dictionaries "SlovoEd" adjusted to the peculiarities of mentioned communicator. The
dictionaries include the widest databases of the leading linguistic companies. The
whole set of functional opportunities is available for Nokia 7710:
- ability to install several databases at the same time,
- full screen translation mode support,
- transcription support
and many others. Besides, Nokia 7710 user interface is available in English,
Spanish, Italian, German, French and Russian languages.
In the future Paragon Software (SHDD) will continue development of new version of
"SlovoEd" dictionaries for Nokia 7710. Also company plans to release the second
edition of the program with sound supporting module, ability to combine databases,
support of morphology analysis and many others functions.
