New multilingual dictionaries for Pocket PC released

Paragon Software (SHDD) officially announces the new version of a multi-language dictionary engine SlovoEd for Pocket PC (version 2.0).

What's new:

• Search history
• Transcription support
• Support of the right sorting order for each national language according to its alphabet
• Color marking of word entries
• Gender of nouns marks (when supported by wordbase)
• Possibility to install SlovoEd to expansion cards

New SlovoEd core now supports such popular dictionaries as English-German, English-Spanish, English-French, English-Russian, German-Russian and many others. Among them are Pocket PC versions of popular MultiLex dictionaries for desktop computers by MediaLingua company.

SlovoEd to be the Best Software by PC Magazine/RE view

SlovoEd dictionary engine is acknowledged as the Best Software Product by editors of PC Magazine/RE. The elections of winners of Annual Awards for Technical Excellence in Russia were based on "principles, the test laboratory of PC Magazine/RE acts on while testing PCs, notebooks, scanners etc.". SlovoEd received the Best Product award in Software cathegory.

Today SlovoEd dictionary engine is available for Palm OS, Pocket PC, Psion (EPOC 32 OS), Casio Pocket Viewer. In the nearest feature we plan to release SlovoEd dictionaries for Nokia 9210 (Symbian OS).

Windows CE / Pocket PC is available in Arabic

Our company announces first complete Arabic localization of Windows CE / Pocket PC operating system. Have you ever seen Windows CE in Arabic? Microsoft does not offer this language version. We filled this gap and now present the Arabic localization of Handheld 2000 devices (HP Jornada 720) and Pocket PC devices. The product translates the interface of your device into Arabic and allows to input Arabic text.

InterKey: Paragon Software to add multilingual typing function to Pocket PC

Paragon Software (SHDD) releases InterKey that solves a problem of national symbols input for Pocket PC users. InterKey includes 60 national keyboard layouts for Pocket PC onscreen keyboard and Targus Stowaway Portable keyboard.

InterKey functions are also included into LEng - a complex solution for Pocket PC national localization.
